Dallas Photographer Pricing

Pricing in photography services can be confusing to some consumers because it can vary greatly depending upon many factors.

Some of those factors are the market where you live, the experience of the photographer and how established they are, the amount and expense of the equipment needed, the expenses of a studio, and the amount of time needed for not just the shoot but also the planning and prep for that shoot and the time and expertise involved in the editing process.

There really is a lot that goes into it, and that was the short-list of what all is really involved.

We strive to make our pricing and the reasons behind it as transparent as possible. We want you to know what to expect. Some, in this industry, lure you in with a cheap “Shoot Fee” and then charge you a significant amount for each image that you get, which often triples or quadruples the amount you originally expected to spend. We just don’t believe in doing business that way!

Photography Packages

That is why we have bundled all of our packages together in a way that is easy to understand so that you know how much you can expect to spend and what you are getting for it. This aligns with our mission of providing an exceptional experience of uncompromising quality, service and value to our customers. With prices starting at just $150 we believe we offer an amazing value to you. And, if you do not see a package that works, we will make a custom one, just for you. If you have any questions, then please give us a call. We are always happy to help in any way we can.

FAQ's & Questions:

We totally get that which is why we try to make our pricing and packages as easy and transparent as possible. We do not like ambush sales tactics here and want everything to be upfront to our clients. Some photographers will advertise a really low price to get you in the door and then surprise you you with super high prices for each image. In other words you pay for the shoot but you don’t get any pictures, those are extra and can cost between $100 to $1000 or more for each picture you want. What is the point of doing a photoshoot if you do not get any pictures? That is why all of our packages automatically include some images with each package and then you can always get more. Pricing for additional images starts at $25 for each additional image with us.

Yes we do. Just give us a call or schedule a consultation and we will go over your needs with you and build a custom package for you that is fair and specific to your needs.

Yes. Any shoots outside of our private studio are subject to additional fees. Locally that fee is $50 within 30 minutes of our studio. Any fees associated with travel outside of the Dallas Metroplex vary based upon time and expenses associated with travel and lodging.

Shoot time is the total amount of time while on-site or in-studio and includes time changing wardrobe and doing makeup and hair. If you have any questions about your shoot and the time, please contact us at 972-878-9669.

No. The number of images included in a pacakage are just a starting point. If you see more images that you like when reviewing your shoot, you can add those to your package as well for an additional fee that is based on the time required to edit the extra images. Pricing for additional images starts at $25 each.

Hair Styling in studio can vary and depends upon the amount of time and complexity. Call for more info.

Makeup done in studio can vary and depends upon the amount of time and complexity. Call for more info.

A Second Shooter is a second professional photographer for event and wedding photography. So you have two photographers covering your event giving you twice the coverage and more images.

An engagement shoot is typically done well in advance of a wedding so the images can be used for sending out invitations. The images may also be used to tell the love story of the couple and may be used in albums.

Bridal portraits are images from a shoot done in the Bride’s wedding dress before the wedding. You can also mix in some Bridal Boudoir if you really want to spice things up for a surprise wedding gift to your new husband.

Changing outfits takes time and we have determined how many times you can change wardrobe during a shoot and still have time to shoot.

We do occasionally run specials on specific shoots. However, unless there is a current special then we do not offer any additional discounts on any of our prices for products or services. Our pricing is already setup to be extremely competitive and to be the best possible value for our clients. So, you are already getting an amazing deal. We set it up that way from the beginning with you in mind. Pricing is determined by the cost of doing business, the level of service offered and to be aggressively competitive in the current market.

All the images included in any package are digital but you will have the option to purchase prints, canvas prints, matted and framed prints, and other options in the store on your personal webpage when your images are delivered.

Yes we do. All of our high-end products are custom and done in collaboration with Graphi Studios in Italy. They are all handmade to order in Italy so turnaround time can take awhile but they are well worth the wait. They are the best on the market and we have some samples in the studio.

No. RAW files are flat and unfinished to allow for more flexibility in the editing process. It is an unfinished product with our name in the metadata. We do not sell unfinished products here anymore than a car dealer would sell you an unpainted car with an unfinished interior. Some people think that having RAW files is proof of ownership so they ask for them for that reason. However, that is incorrect. Copyright is with the creator and that information is stored in the metadata of the file. The files are also enormous and unless you plan to edit them yourself (which is not allowed under copyright law) there is no need for you to have them as the finished files will look substantially better and will be a fraction of the size, taking up less space on our server and less space on your computer. Editing the Raw files to produce a finished image is a part of the artistic process and makes a huge difference in the finished image. The skills necessary to develop images in Photoshop takes years of experience to master and we will never release products with our name on them for someone else to edit unless it is for a special project requiring otherwise. In which case there will be a written agreement.
